Crispy Sprouts Masala Poha
Sprouts masala poha is a healthy evening snack prepared by cooking sprouts with some spices and mix with roasted peanuts, onion and carrots for crunchiness.
It’s perfect for weighloss and packed with protein. The roasted peanuts , sev and veggies make it crunchy and tasty too. A flavourful snack, easy to make and taste buds are satisfied!!!
Ingredients:
Poha or flattened rice - 2 cup
Moong or mixed sprouts- 1 cup
Roasted peanuts- 1 cup
Onion - 1 cup (finely chopped)
Green chilli- 2 (chopped)
Grated carrot- 1/2 cup
Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
Chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
Oil- 2 tbsp
Salt
Coriander leaves- 1 handful (chopped)
Lemon juice- 1 tbsp
Preparation:
1. In a pan, add 1/2 tsp oil and add poha , salt into it. Roast it for sometime and keep it aside.
2. In another pan, add oil, half of the chopped onions, green chilli, sauté for a minute. Then add mixed sprouts, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and coriander powder, salt, mix well and add little water allow it boil for 2-3 minutes.
3. Remove from flame and keep it aside.
4. In a mixing bowl, add roasted poha and peanuts. Then add cooked sprouts masala, onion, grated carrot, coriander leaves.
5. Finally add lemon juice and mix thoroughly.
6. Healthy and tasty sprouts masala poha is ready to serve!!
