Description:

Chicken Nuggets are prepared by marinating boneless chicken pieces marinated with some spices later with a breading coating and deep fried or baked. 

We can make these in a bunch and freeze them. Fry or bake whenever we want. Its a great choice for parties too especially kid’s birthday parties. It’s always a hit in our home. 

Ingredients:

Chicken boneless pieces - 300 gms

All purpose flour- 1/2 cup

Bread crumbs- 1/2 cup

Garlic powder- 1/2 tsp

Red chilli powder- 1/2 tsp

Pepper powder- 1/2 tsp

Salt - 1/2 tsp

For Marination:

Buttermilk- 1/2 cup

Egg - 1 (whisked)

Salt- 3/4 tsp

Pepper Powder- 3/4 tsp

Red Chilli Powder- 1/2 tsp  

Preparation:

1. Wash and pat dry the chicken boneless pieces. Cut these into bite sized nugget shapes.

2. To marinate, add buttermilk into a bowl and add whisked egg, the spice powders and salt as mentioned . 

3. Whisk the mixture and add the chicken pieces. Give a mix to coat the pieces with the batter. Set aside in room temperature for 30 mins.

4. Make the breading flour mix with the ingredients given above. Mix it to combine well.

5. Take out chicken pieces soaked in the marinade one at a time with your left hand and place it on the breading mix. 

6. Now with your right hand, fully coat the pieces with the breading mix by turning few times. Shake off the excess breading and place them side by side on a plate. 

7. To fry the nuggets, heat oil in a pan for deep frying and drop them one by one .

8. Fry on medium heat for 5-6 mins till golden brown.

9. Fry the rest of the nuggets in batches.
