Description:

Sweet Potato Parathas are prepared by using boiled and mashed sweet potatoes and stuffed it in paratha along with some spices.  

Sweet Potato Parathas are not only tasty but it’s packed with nutrients. It’s best option for kids lunch box menu. Since it’s fibre rich, kids who are suffering from constipation can have it. Serve it with raita and pickle.

Ingredients:

Wheat flour- 2 cups 

Sweet potato- 2

Cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp

Ajwain seeds - 1/2 tsp

Kasuri Methi- 1/2 tsp

Garam masala- 1/2 tsp

Ghee 

Salt

Preparation:

1. Wash and pressure cook sweet potato for 2 whistles. Peel the skin and mash it well. Keep it aside.

2. In a mixing bowl, add wheat flour, salt and water little by little to make a smooth dough.

3. In a bowl, add mashed sweet potato, cumin seeds, Ajwain seeds, Kasuri Methi, garam masala and salt.

4. Spread the dough and take a small portion of sweet potato and cover it .

5. Roll it thick or thin as you want.

6. Heat tawa, spread little ghee and rolled Paratha.

7. Cook on both sides on medium flame and serve hot!!
