Restaurant style chilli paneer recipe is prepared by marinate chicken with spices and deep fried  then tossed in a chilli garlic sauce. 

This recipe is all time kids favourite and always a hit in our home. We can have it with fried rice, noodles , or as a starter too. If yu are making for kids yu can substitute chilli garlic sauce with tomato sauce to avoid spicy. 

Ingredients:

For marination:

Chicken- 1/2 kg

Corn flour- 2 tbsp 

All purpose flour- 1 tbsp 

Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp

Chilli powder- 1 tsp

Pepper powder- 1 tsp

Lemon juice- 1 tbsp 

Salt 

Water

For sauce:

Oil

Ginger - 1 tbsp (finely chopped)

Garlic- 1 tbsp (finely chopped)

Green chilli- 2 (finely chopped)

Onion- 2 (cubed)

Capsicum- 1 (cubed)

Chilli garlic sauce- 1 tbsp 

Soy sauce- 1 tsp

Corn slurry- 2 tbsp 

Spring onion- (finely chopped) 

Preparation:

1. In a mixing bowl, add corn flour, all purpose flour, ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, pepper powder , lemon juice and salt.

2. Add little water and mix thoroughly to make a thick batter. Add chicken pieces into it. Let the batter coat all the chicken pieces well. Keep in refrigerator for marination atleast half an hour.

3. Deep fry the chicken pieces in oil in batches.

4. Drain the oil and keep it aside.

5. To make the sauce, add oil in a pan, add finely chopped ginger, garlic and green chilli, fry for a minute. 

6. Then add chopped capsicum and onion saute fa a minute.

7. Add chilli garlic sauce and soy sauce and little water and bring to a boil. Now add salt and corn flour slurry into it to make sauce bit thick consistency.

8. Wen it boils, lower the flame and add fried chicken pieces into it. 

9. Garnish with spring onion and serve hot!!
