Paneer Tikka
Paneer Tikka is a popular and delicious tandoori starter and snack where Paneer (Indian cottage cheese cubes) are marinated in a spiced yogurt-based marinade, arranged on skewers and grilled in the oven or tawa.
It’s always a hit in party and all time favourite for kids. Yu can serve it as a snack or have it as a filling in sandwich and tats great for lunch box.
Ingredients:
Paneer - 250 gms
Onion - 1/2 cup (cubed)
Capsicum- 1/2 cup ( cubed)
Yogurt- 1/2 cup
Kashmiri chilli powder- 1 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder- 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder- 1/4 tsp
Garam masala- 1/2 tsp
Chaat masala- 1 tsp
Kasuri methi- 1 tsp
Besan flour-2 tbsp
Lemon juice- 1 tbsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Oil
Preparation:
1. Firstly, take ½ cup yogurt and add in all the spices along with salt.
2. Mix till all the spices are combined well with curd.
3. Now add onion, cubed capsicum and paneer into it.
4. Add oil and gently mix till all the ingredients are coated well.
5. To marinate, cover and refrigerate for 30 mins.
6. After marination, insert the marinated paneer , capsicum and onions into wooden skewers.
7. Roast it on a hot tawa or grill in oven or tandoor.
8. Finally, sprinkle some chaat masala and serve hot paneer tikka!!!
