Creamy White Sauce Pasta
White sauce pasta recipe is prepared by making a white sauce and then veggies were sautéed in butter and mix the cooked pasta and veggies in white sauce. It’s delicious and creamy with lots of cheese.
Whether it’s an evening snack or weekend romantic dinner, white sauce pasta is always a hit .. Even kids love to have it for their birthday party .
Ingredient:
Penne pasta - 1 cup
Butter - 2 tbsp
Garlic- 5 cloves (finely chopped)
Maida - 1 tbsp
Milk - 1 cup
Heavy cream- 1/4 cup
Capsicum- 1/2 cup (diced)
Sweetcorn- 1/2 cup (boiled)
Broccoli- 1/2 cup
Pepper powder- 2 tsp
Oregano- 1 tbsp
Chilli flakes - 1 tbsp
Mozzarella cheese- 1/2 cup (grated)
Salt
Preparation:
1. Boil pasta for about 10 mins. Drain the excess water using colander and set aside
2. In a pan, add butter once it melts add all the veggies such as broccoli, corn, capsicum and saute for 2-3 mins. The veggies should be crunchy not soggy.
3. Transfer to a plate and keep it aside.
4. In the same pan, add butter and once melts add garlic into it.
5. Once the garlic gives nice aroma along with butter , add flour into it.
6. Whisk it continuously for 30 seconds and it shudnt change the color.
7. Add milk and heavy cream into it and stir well . Let it bind together nicely
8. Now add all the seasoning: pepper powder, salte, oregano, chilli flakes.
9. Keep the flame in low so tat it won’t stick at the bottom.
10. Wen it boils, the saute will thicken in some time.
11. Then add the sautéed veggies and boiled pasta into it.
12. Once everything binds well adjust the seasoning if necessary. Serve hot!!
