Cauliflower Curry Recipe - The perfect one pot vegetarian dish in India.
Cauliflower Curry
Cauliflower curry is prepared by cooking the cauliflower in the onion, tomato and sime spices along with the coconut milk.
Coconut milk enhances the flavour of the curry. Instead of having gobi 65 or manchurian all the time dis curry is a variant and delicious. It’s a good option for vegetarians.
Ingredients:
Cauliflower- 1 florets (2 cups approximately)
Oil - 2 tbsp
Butter - 1 tbsp
Jeera- 1/4 tsp
Green chilli- 2
Onion - 2 (finely chopped)
Tomato- 4 (chopped)
Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
Kashmiri chilli powder- 1 tsp
Coriander powder- 1 tsp
Garam masala- 1 tsp
Coconut milk - 1/2 cup
Salt
Preparation:
1. Add oil in a pan , add jeera seeds into it.
2. Wen it splutters add green chilli and onion , saute for 2-3 mins
3. Now add all the spices and tomato
4. Saute it till the tomato turns mushy
5. Add salt and make sure the spices gets mixed with onion and tomato.
6. Allow it to cool down and blend to a fine paste by adding some water.
7. In the same pan, add butter and wen it melts add the ground paste into it.
8. Add water and let it boil for 2 mins.
9. Now add cauliflower florets and water. Allow it to cook for sometime.
10. Aft 5 mins, the cauliflower gets cooked well and the gravy turns thick too
11. Now add coconut milk into it. Coconut milk adds richness to the curry.
12. Boil for a minute and switch off the flame. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
