Description:

Black sesame seeds ladoos are traditional Indian sweet balls made with jaggery, sesame, ghee and cardamom powder. These laddus are popular in the northern & central regions and are mainly consumed during winters. They are crunchy, and yummy one can munch on them for instant energy.

Sesame seeds ladoo is rich in iron and calcium. Not just calcium, sesame seeds are rich in a number of nutrients. Let’s have a look at the nutrients you get from it:

Ingredients:

  • Black Sesame seeds- 1 cup  
  • Peanuts- 1 cup 
  • Powdered Jaggery- 1 1/2 cup  
  • Cardamom powder- 1/2 tsp 
  • Ghee - 2 tbsp

Preparation: 

1. First dry roast the sesame seeds in a pan until it pops. Make sure not to burn it and let it cool. 

2. In the same pan dry roast the peanuts and allow it to cool for sometime. 
  
3. Powder the seaame seeds and peanuts in a mixer. 
 
4. Measure powdered jaggery and add it to the mixture. 
 
5. Mix everything together by using hands. 
 
6. If yu want yu can mix it using mixer once. Now add cardamom powder and ghee into it for flavour. 
 
7. Now everything will blend together. 
 
8. Grease your hands with ghee and roll tight ladoos. 
 
9. You can add more jaggery powder and blend if it doesn’t hold shape. 
 
10. Tasty and healthy ladoos are ready to eat!!! 
 
11. Transfer it to a glass jar and enjoy munching!!
