Kerala Style Beef Curry - a delicious gravy recipe made using aromatic spices for flavourful and delicious beef curry.

 Kerala Style Beef Curry

Beef is an excellent source of protein and supplies 10 essential nutrients including B-vitamins, zinc, and iron that support an active and healthy lifestyle. The nutrients in beef provide our bodies with the strength to thrive throughout all stages of life.

This recipe is our go to recipes for beef especially on weekends… Everyone in our family enjoyed having this Kerala style beef curry..

The preparation involves a slow cook process where you need to make the beef soft and tender (fully cooked), but at the same time ensuring that the flesh does not pull apart. The cooked beef is sautéed with various spices and curry powders making it spicy and rich.

I love to cook such curry recipes in an iron skillet as it enhances the color of your dish. You can also use other types of pans; just make sure to cook on a low to medium heat so that the caramelization of the onions with the other ingredients is even. Adding a tsp of vinegar while cooking the beef makes it tender - my sister’s tip.

Ingredients:

Beef - 1/2 kg

Onion - 2

Tomato- 1 ( medium size)

Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
